The mission behind starting this eco-friendly online store began from watching my dad. When I was a young girl, my dad taught us to recycle. He had a Coles basket (yes I know, I think he took it) and all our recycling would go into this and then into our yellow bin for recyclables. He was conscious of the electricity usage around the home to save electricity and the environment. Back then we didn’t know a lot about the impacts plastics had on our environment as we do now.  

Here is where my love for the planet began and hasn’t finished, as I have gotten older, I have started to incorporate different recycling programs into my home. It’s a passion of mine, it started with small steps like a compost bin, finding ways to reduce my waste, starting with cleaning products, and recycling my blister packets & dental products through TerraCycle.

There are many harmful chemicals in our cleaning products, and it was only when I started to try for my next baby did I realise these chemicals could impact my fertility journey and overall health. I opted for home made or products like ZeroCo,

It is an everyday work in progress to make a sustainable impact at home and work but each day I find new ways to help the planet, teach my kids about recycling and ensure that my children have a cleaner world to live in.  

I credit this site to my dad, now in the later stages of lewy body dementia – he is my hero & the face behind the passion!
